Our Partnership with Africa Oil Week (AOW)

UK-based Hyve Group recently ordered delegate bags and masks for the upcoming Africa Oil Week congress to be held in Dubai, UAE in November 2021. We are particularly grateful for this order as it brings hope and relief to the members of the Empire Club cooperative who are producing the items in the township community of Manenberg outside Cape Town, South Africa.

All township® bags and masks are Fair Trade Guaranteed (accredited by the World Fair Trade Organization) and their production in women-owned cooperatives is directly impacting the life of the 45 women self-employed in the six cooperatives currently in operation.

We strongly fight for building a fairer, better world and being able to count on the continuous loyalty of customers like the Hyve Group goes a long way in demonstrating that PCOs and Associations partnering with social businesses like Township Patterns can indeed participate in the transformation towards a more sustainable, inclusive MICE industry.

We are thankful for the AOW order, it has made a significant social impact on the livelihoods of the women in the Empire Club cooperative!
